　学校には、主要教科と選択教科のために、それぞれ違ったウィング（棟）があります。アート・ウィング、ミュージック・ウィング、そしてジム・ウィングがあります。

The school has different wings for core areas, and electives. There is an art wing, a music wing, and also a gym wing.

　１つの４階建ての建物が中心です。体育館と技術棟が別にあります。

The main building is four-storied. The gym is an another building, and we have an technology wing including two classes.

　必須教科は、英語、数学、理科、社会、そして体育です。
Required classes are English, math, science, social studies, and physical education.

　生徒たちは他に、２教科を選択教科として選ぶことができます。でも、時には、第一希望と第二希望で選択できるとは限りません。
Students can choose two other classes called electives, but sometimes do not get their first or second choice.

　音楽、演劇、美術、地域奉仕、その他楽しいことが、学校が始まる前や放課後のクラブとしてあります。スポーツチームもまた、普通日に外で活動があります。すべての人が学校の始まる前後の活動やスポーツチームに入っているわけではありません。
Music, drama, art, community service, and other fun things are part of before or after school clubs. Sports teams are also outside the regular school day. Not everyone participates in an after or before school activity, or joins a sports team.

　必須教科は、国語、英語、数学、理科、社会科、美術、音楽、体育、技術・家庭科です。
Required classes are Japanese, English, math, science, social studies, art, music, physical education, technology and home economics.

　生徒たちは、他にいくつかの選択教科を選ぶことができます。選択教科は必須教科の科目と同じです。でも、授業内容は、より難しくなっています。
Students can choose some other classes called sentaku (electives). Elective subjects are the same as required classes, but the course contents are more difficult than the required classes.

　すべての生徒が始業前や放課後に行われる運動系か文化系の部活動に参加しています。
Everyone joins an before and after school club either in a physical activity or a cultural activity.

他 Other

どの授業の時も、生徒が先生の教室へ移動します。なぜならば、それぞれのクラスにその授業での重要なものがあるからです。（掲示物、地図、洗顔場など）
Students move for every class to the teacher's classroom, because each classroom may have items in it that are important for that class (posters, maps, eyewash station)

　どの教科も先生が生徒たちの部屋へ移動します。理科や体育のような特別教室は違います。なぜならば、学級の生徒の１年間の歩みの掲示をしたり、クラスの仲間と過ごす時間を大切にしたいからです。
Teachers move for every class to the student's room, except for special room classes like science and gym. Because each classroom has items of the classmates and students can share their time with their friends.

　生徒たちは、普段着を着ています。でも、着てはいけない服などについてきまりがあります。（スパゲティ・ストラップ・タンク・トップ、そして、えりを出すことなどです。）
Students wear regular clothes, but have some rules about what may not be worn (can't wear spaghetti strap tank tops, or show their naval)

　生徒たちは制服を着ています。また、体操服も決められたものがあります。
Students wear uniforms. We also have an uniform of gym suit.

　多くの生徒がバス通学しています。歩きや自転車、家の人の車に乗せてもらうという人もいます。
Many students ride the school bus. Some walk, ride bikes, or get a ride from parents.

　ほとんどの生徒が歩きか自転車で通学しています。特別な時に、家の人が車で送り迎えします。
Most students walk or ride bikes to school. Sometimes, for a special reason, parents will drive.
